MARLGREY is a static magazine. Reading it does not require an account, and we set no cookies and run no advertising trackers. The little data we do handle is listed below — all of it.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date you signed up and which form you used. It lives in our database (hosted with Supabase in the EU), is used only to send you the newsletter, and is never sold or shared. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link; you can also just write to us and we will delete the address entirely.
Server & traffic data
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection logs (IP address, user agent) to deliver pages and block abuse — as any host does. We may count page views and clicks in aggregate, without cookies and without profiles of individual readers.
Third-party requests
Pages load webfonts from Fontshare and, during our pilot, placeholder photography from Picsum. Your browser makes those requests directly, which exposes your IP address to those services — the same as loading any image on the web. We keep this list short on purpose.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you (for most readers: nothing; for subscribers: one email address).
- Have it corrected or deleted — one message is enough.
- Complain to your local data-protection authority if we let you down.
